This is my entry for the js13kGames 2024 competition. The theme was "Triskaidekaphobia" (fear of the number 13). It's a lights-out-esque puzzle where you solve puzzles by making all the squares show "13". Really wanted to participate but wasn't willing to spare the energy and time to delve into a new idea, so I borrowed the game meachanics from the Burn It All Down project.
WARNING: This game plays sound when you beat a level!

Placed 80th out of 171.
Levels 1-5: aren't too hard, though progressivly more difficult. For these I have systematic processes for solving.
Level 6: I don't have a system for beating. I just click until the asymetries go away then it's much more straightforward. A bit of a bummer that the hints don't work well here because it stops you from getting to...
Level 7: The bese level (IMHO). I Generally like my games in two dimentions, but this puzzle idea was too good to omit. This one I can solve systematically. The hints work fine here but I'd try to avoid them! It's quite a rewarding little puzzle to think about. It's also the first webgl I've ever written. When I submitted the entry for the competition, this level didn't work on mobile, so I didn't submit for that category. I changed nothing for several months and then it magically started working! Some Chrome bug perhaps.

Also was excited to put in some firework effects. Really just looks blurry until you look closer and see theyare all 13s!
